FOSTERING ADVOCACY Trevor Fish currently works with The Bridges Foundation as an Employment Consultant/Job Coach. He works with students that have special needs and helps them transition from high school to post high school, focusing on life skills, employment skills, and self-advocacy skills.

PROVIDING RESOURCES Thomas Payne currently works with the Muscogee Nation Business Enterprises placed in the ARPA services. He works to connect youth with resources that provide opportunities to learn life skills and engage in their community and is an inspiration with his "consistency and commitment"

ENCOURAGING WELLNESS Conner Self is a Mvskoke youth living in Texas. He is driven to be culturally connected despite his physical distance from the Mvskoke people living on the reservation. He has taken advantage of the many online services and opportunities that have been provided and was actually nominated by a member of our staff, as they said he was highly engaged and encouraged his peers.

PROMOTING CIVIC DUTY Cloee Graham has a passion for justice through democracy that began as early as middle school. She is a strong advocate for voting and voting rights. She is currently services as an intern for Youth Services and is leading efforts to engage voters in the upcoming elections. Continuing on, her goal is to become an attorney who fights for Native American rights and sovereignty

CREATE SUPPORT Karen McGirt is a member of the Mvskoke Nation Youth Council. This year, she created and led an initiative named En Etvlhvmke En Hompetv (The Community's Food) to establish food pantries at two of the MCN housing communities in Okmulgee. She developed a partnership with Crutchemer and Taylor Drive, worked with MNYC to purchase the containers, and led a food drive that resulted in over 550 lbs of food

FOSTER ADVOCACY Lynnelle Roberts has been in education for over 26 years and is continuously supporting students with disabilities as the Transition Coordinator for Jenks Public Schools. Each year she coordinates the South County Community Resource Night for Jenks students with over 200+ in attendance to support successful transitions for students with disabilities

ENCOURAGES WELLNESS William Fixico works at the Diabetes Prevention Program where he focuses on working with Paden School and Preston School jump rope programs. Recently, the Paden staff were unable to take the team to the East Central Jump Rope Championship and William volunteered to drive the team himself. Though they could not accept the offer, they said it shows his constant commitment to the youth and schools he works with

PROMOTING CIVIC DUTY Jayce Miller is known to carry a stack of voter registration forms in his vehicle at all times so that he can always be prepared to help someone sign up to vote. In April 2021, he was elected to his hometown's city council, becoming the second youngest elected in Ringling's history. In the past year, Miller has proposed many items to reduce crime rates, drugs, and other illegal activity

After completing his Masters in social work, he worked at Haskell Indian Nations University. He currently works as a National Council Representative and has been highly involved in Mvskoke Nation Youth Council
